Organic Beef and Turkey Meat Patties - Russian Kotleti
Ingredients:
- couple slices of Bread torn into small pieces, crust removed
- 1/3 cup Milk
- 1 lb ground Turkey
- 1 lb ground Beef
- 1 small organic Onion, diced
- 3 Tbsp unsalted organic melted Butter
- 2 Eggs
- 2-3 Tbsp Dill, finely chopped
- Salt and Pepper
- 2 more Eggs and 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs for breading
- some Butter and Avocado oil for the skillet
Instructions:
1. Combine Bread and Milk in a large mixing bowl. Let it soak while you are chopping Onion and Dill. You can add it to the bread mix in the process, while it's soaking.
2. Now you an add Turkey and Beef. Pour melted Butter on top. Add Salt and Pepper.
3. Separate 2 Eggs into whites and yolks.
- Add egg yolks to the meat. Mix everything well with your hand.
- Put egg whites into a bowl. Beat the whites with a mixer till it's stiff. Add it to the meat, mix well once again.
4. Get 2 small bowl.
Fill one with 2 eggs, beat them with a mixer.
Fill the second one with Breadcrumbs.
5. Form the patties. Dip them in the egg first, then cover with breadcrumbs. Use a large cutting board to put the patties on.
6. Preheat the skillet, add 2 Tbsp of butter and 2 Tbsp of Avocado oil. Saute about 5 min each side, flipping a few times while cooking. When it's cooked juices run clear.
